Chinese tech giant ByteDance has agreed to restrict its AI video-making tool, Seedance, in response to Disney’s threat of legal action and complaints from other major entertainment companies. The tool, which can generate realistic videos based on text prompts, had raised concerns over copyright infringement with its use of characters from franchises like Marvel and Star Wars.
