A specialist online investigator had been tracking an abused girl, known as Lucy, whose disturbing images were being shared on the dark web. The investigator, Greg Squire, was working for the US Department of Homeland Security Investigations and had hit a dead end. However, he eventually discovered a clue to Lucy’s location in a seemingly insignificant detail in one of the images.
