Honor Magic V6 Unboxing and Hands-On Review
The Honor Magic V6 is now official, and we’re excited to share our unboxing experience with you. Our unit is the stunning Red model, which comes with a USB cable and a color-matching red-and-gold case.
Design and Build
The Magic V6 supports faster 80W wired and 66W wireless charging, but you’ll need to purchase the required charger separately. The rear of the case has a suede-like finish, similar to the phone’s rear panel, and features a clever kickstand built around the camera island.
The phone itself is slightly thinner and weighs about the same as its predecessor, the Magic V5. However, it packs a much larger 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery with a higher energy density.
Camera and Display
The camera system has seen minimal changes, with a triple main camera setup consisting of a 50MP wide-angle lens, a 64MP 70mm zoom lens, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. There are also two 20MP selfie shooters. Honor has improved the stabilization to an industry-leading 6.5 CIPA rating.
The folding 7.95-inch screen has the least visible crease on a book-style foldable, according to Honor. The cover display has also gotten slightly larger, measuring 6.52 inches.
Conclusion
We’re looking forward to reviewing the Magic V6 in more detail, but for now, we’re impressed with its design and features. Stay tuned for our full review!
