Pricing and Availability

As this is a prototype, Lenovo hasn’t outlined a price or release date for the Legion Go Fold. However, it is expected to be expensive, possibly over $2,000, due to the premium that comes with foldable displays.

For example, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is around twice the price of the Samsung Galaxy S26. Additionally, the ongoing component shortage and resulting price spike are causing tech prices to surge, making 32GB of RAM a costly component.

If you are looking for a larger portable screen for your handheld, a more affordable option would be a pair of XR smart glasses from the likes of RayNeo or Xreal. These devices offer a similar experience to the Lenovo Legion Go Fold but at a lower price point.

Meanwhile, the Lenovo Legion Go 2 with SteamOS is another option, although it is priced at $1,049 / £1,000 / AU$1,609. Therefore, the Lenovo Legion Go Fold may not be the best value for money, especially considering the price of a solid gaming laptop.
